My voice is my passport

What does your voice say about you?

Not your choice of words, but all the extra information the voice carries. Your accent could nod to where you come from or the pace of your words suggest how you feel. You can be now identified with a voiceprint to access your phone or your bank.

Our voices are being used as biometric tools to uncover more and more information about us.

And while we often don’t notice changes in the way we speak, trained professionals through to voice analytic technologies apparently can.

My voice is my passport explores how researchers, companies and governments are listening to what our voices say but we don’t put into words.
