Radio Climate
Ecological encounters rendered in sound, mapped across Victoria. Image by Edie Bush
Curated for the Emergence(y) exhibition at Science Gallery, Radio Climate is an expanding archive of audio pieces that deepen connection to place through the act of listening.
Selected audio artworks engage diverse sonic ecologies within travelling distance of the gallery in downtown Melbourne, creating a space of encounter with Country, with place, with the human and non-human, to illuminate how inextricably linked we all are.
The first iteration of Radio Climate was co-curated by Lana Nguyen, Eliki Reade and Miyuki Jokiranta and presented as part of Rising Festival.
